How to get kidney to filter
In this article I’ll show you how to get your kidneys to filter like the image below:

When I first checked if my kidneys were filtering I was surprised that after doing a 90 day juice fast and another 3 months raw, my kidneys were not filtering.
6 months and I’m still not filtering, what am I doing wrong?
I later realized that to get kidney to filter, we need to strictly manage the amount of water that goes into our body, while juicing is a great tool to heal, it’s not what you want to do to get kidneys to filter.
You’ll want to dry fast.
Dry fasting for kidney filtration
Each day I dry fasted for 16-22 hours, and ate a mono fruit diet.
I do not suggest dry-fasting longer than 22 hours in a single day.
The dry fasting puts the body into resting mode and by eating only a single type of fruit the body allocates less energy to digestion allowing more energy to healing.
During this time I took no water or juice intake.
The kidneys manage water and waste management, if we remove excess water they can focus more on waste management.
I only took water in the form of fruit, the fiber helps regulate the speed water goes into the body.
If you have poor kidney function, drinking even a little bit of water (1 or 2 liters per day) may be too much work for the kidneys to filter at the start.
To get the kidney to filter, we need to give them as little work as possible.
I later learned this is why a juice fast is not a good idea for kidney filtration, there’s too much water going in for them to have time to filter.
After 4 days of dry fasting I saw filtration, it was little but it was progress.
Just a few specs of dust here and there.
My pee went from a cloudy grey color to a dark red hue, this is a good sign that you’re astringing the body of water.

It may take 7 days or longer before you see sediment in your urine, when the pee turns from clear to yellow and then to red you’re on the right track.
Dry fasting can be tough on the body, be sure to dry fast when you have time and energy, it’s not ideal to dry fast along with working out or in the middle of a face-paced job.
Do it during a time when you can relax the body.
Tip: In a single dry fast never go past 22 hours when you start, and before you try dry-fasting I suggest you go on a 100% raw food diet for at least 30 days, otherwise the detox symptoms you’re going to get will be rough (headaches, mucus, anxiety, hunger pains etc).
Once your kidney are filtering
When you see sediment in your urine, don’t stop there, this is just the start, there’s a good chance you have months if not years of acid waste stored within the body.
Keep dry fasting for at least another 30 days and eating 100% raw, if you go back to eating a cooked diet or meat and veg your kidney will very quickly stop filtering.
Once you see sediment in urine, the next step is to truly open up the kidneys so you can get major lymph out the body like this video:
